Our Story
Keje Electric Company was founded in 1975 by Mr. Damodar Mahbubani, a visionary engineer and a gold medalist in Electrical Engineering from the College of Engineering, Pune. With technical brilliance and bold determination, he dared to step into entrepreneurship despite humble beginnings driven by a passion to build an Indian company that would deliver worldclass industrial solutions. At a time when most industrial equipment was either unavailable or imported, Mr. Mahbubani committed to developing locally engineered machines tailored for Indian manufacturers. What began in a modest workshop steadily grew into a full-fledged engineering company trusted across India and beyond. His philosophy was simple: “Build machines that work hard, last long, and make a difference.” Today, that legacy continues. The foundation he laid of technical depth, ethical business, and customer-first values remains at the heart of Keje Electric Company’s journey.

Seema Tejwani
Partner – Strategy, R&D, and Innovation
An Electronics Engineer from MIT College, Pune, Seema drives strategy, research & development, and new product innovation at Keje Electric Company. With a sharp eye for industry trends and a strong background in automation, she leads the charge on developing next-generation welding and power solutions. Her passion lies in rethinking systems, exploring new technologies, and ensuring Keje stays ahead in a fast-changing manufacturing world.
Vasundhara Mehta
Partner – Customer Relations & People Development
A Mechanical Engineer from Pune University, Vasundhara brings a human touch to engineering. She leads customer experience, HR, and relationship management, ensuring that every client, employee, and partner feels valued. Her approachable nature, problem-solving mindset, and commitment to service have helped Keje build lasting relationships across the industry.
